FRED STEPP grew up bank fishing ponds and small lakes scattered all throughout the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina. Those are the places that he would spend countless hours sharpening his skills and building his foundation as an angler. Everything he knows attributes to those countless hours fishing from the bank.

Sometimes even trading the glide rod for the fly rod to chase down multiple different species from Bluegill, trout and even carp!
