Mike Zampese is tournament bass angler hailing from Northern New Jersey. He competes not just in the Bass Master opens, but also in local tournaments regularly. He also served in the Marine Corps and was deployed to Afghanistan. After returning to civilian life and working as a heavy equipment operator, he found competitive bass fishing has drawn some parallels to the excitement and hard work he learned from the military. As a result, he has become a skilled and dedicated bass angler and has fallen in love with the sport.
