Lyal Held is an avid angler and tournament fisherman from west central Minnesota. He started at a young age chasing bass and anything that would bite from shore or anything that would float. In his early 20's he joined a local bass club and was instantly addicted. That was also where Casey and Lyal met and led to the start of BassBrawlOutdoors. Since those days a lot has happened from a state record smallmouth to helping film Zona shows and meeting Oliver Ngy. He is an avid tournament fisherman across the midwest, fishing local events and the Sturgeon Bay open. He is currently a shop foreman at a christian based auto repair shop called Fix It Forward. The shop has a non profit Fix It Forward Ministry that is heavily involved with the community and has already donated 300+ vehicles to families in need.
